Wire Armor Spray is a biodegradable polymer base lubricant and a corrosion inhibitor for jacketed and non-jacketed wireline. In jacketed wireline applications Wire Armor Spray provides a compatible lubricating film which prevents damage to coated wire from the counter and shives during running operations. The lubricating film will not build up or gum up on the wire or tooling and is non-hazardous. In conventional wireline Wire Armor Spray provides protection to the wireline in corrosive environments. Wire Armor Spray will protect the wireline from the effects of corrosive chemicals commonly found in downhole production as well as surface rust during storage. This spray prevents corrosion in acids, caustics, salt water and most chemicals found in downhole operations. Use in spray systems commonly found on most wireline service units.
